I hope you are both well.
I recently lost the second of my two beloved Labrador siblings and found your podcast whilst suffering with immense grief and looking for support.
It’s been so helpful to listen to the stories of other pet owners so I wanted to share mine as whilst both of my labradors lived amazing full lives, they were still filled with vet visits, tough decisions and that all too familiar anticipatory grief that would cripple me as they aged.
14 years ago I was 22 years old, living at home and still grieving the death of our family dog Chloe. We'd always had dogs in our house which was now feeling empty at the time - and so one day my mother brought back two Labrador puppies from the same litter... a yellow girl we named Holly and a black boy we named Joey:
